The absolute best hairdresser for neurodivergent kids. She is always incredibly patient with my 6 year old son and we adore her. He was even bragging to his cousin about her this morning saying how nice she is and stated "we're practically best friends."
I recently took my son age 6 who is also on the spectrum to get his hair cut by jen and I cant even put into words how thankful I am to have found her! My son does not tolerate hair cuts at all and we actually put it off for a little over a year and he grew some beautiful long curly locks but it was time to bite the bullet and cut. Jen was beyond patient, kind and understanding. She even cut his hair while he was sitting on the floor the whole time playing and when it came time to what we knew would be the hardest part (buzzers) she steped back to make him more comfortable and let me try to do the fitst few swipes to let someone he trusts do it first. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Surprisingly, every single one of the reviews I read before making an appointment were 100% accurate. While my daughter doesn’t have special needs, she was petrified to have her first (very overdue) haircut and Jen was patient, calm, accommodating and wonderful throughout the whole process. I can’t convey how appreciative I am of her kindness. We will definitely be back in the future! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
