Herbein was engaged by a Township for whom I was associated as a consultant and as an employee. They have audited the 2021 and 2022 books. I was very impressed. Herbein let the staff know well in advance what the timeframe would be for each audit. This particular Township can be a high-pressure environment and Herbein proceeded through the audit process completely unimpacted by the internal goings on. Their suggestions for future years’ accounting are clear and founded for the one area which is not often seen in Township accounting. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
