Good evening Google Family. This is my first time visiting the Atrium - at the Main LIne Health Corporate Offices in Radnor, or Wayne, PA. I was invited to celebrate the life and times of my dear momma, Mrs. Evelyn Latane, pronounced, Lat-knee. It is a lovely building and the service was so wonderful and endearing. They had a lovely program of which the audience was a part of. They had a musician, a guitarist and violinist. We were able to speak our loved one's name and then we were allowed to speak a few words about our loved ones. I spoke about my dear Momma and how she has transitioned back on Monday, March 24, 2025 and now she is in a better place, no more pain...read full review

My father was served by Main Line Health Hospice during the last 10 days of his life. Because this service was offered during the height of the COVID pandemic and just as vaccines were becoming available, I must concede that all of us, including the hospice staff, were under a great deal of stress. That said, in the midst of that historic moment, my dad's best friend and I were his care team - we could not leave the house and could not potentially expose ourselves to COVID. We depended on the hospice team to give us necessary support and to guide us through various challenges that naturally arise in hospice. Regrettably, basic necessary supplies were not ordered in a timely fashion, directions for medication administration were not offered in a comprehensive way, attention to nausea maintenance was not attended to, and, as a result, my father's care was sub-par resulting in some unnecessarily uncomfortable and painful experiences for him. Most painful - and I mean truly painful - is what happened in the final moments of my father's conscious life, when we were served by an on-call nurse who used an unkind, raised voice with us, accused us of not providing my dad with accurate doses of pain medication (which was inaccurate and unfounded), and basically met us with a great deal of harshness at a very vulnerable time. It brought me to tears and I had to leave my father's side. The nurse then proceeded to administer morphine and my father was unconscious from then on until his death. His last moments of speaking with us were robbed by a lack of grace on the part of this Main Line Hospice staff member. In short, this experience was traumatizing and I'm still impacted by it three years later. My advice: proceed with great care and extensive interviewing of service providers before choosing Main Line Health Hospice. This time in a family's life is precious - protect it. I only give two stars instead of one because all the service was offered during the Pandemic.

Main Line Home Care sent a nurse (Christa) an occupational therapist (Lindy) and a physical therapist (Chris) to help my dad after a hospitalization. They were punctual and professional. They really helped my dad increase his mobility and strength. They provided us with other invaluable information to help him navigate the house safely. We are grateful for their help and support.
