“I truly don’t know where to start with Heather! She is an absolute expert and very clearly knows the art and science behind hair styling! She is literally a genius who taught me so much about both mine and my son’s hair, things that I never once heard before about not only the terminology, but the methods and techniques that work best behind various hair types. The first time I took my son there, she cut his hair absolutely perfectly and explained to me how to properly gel his hair along his cowlicks, and how his hair should be cut/faded and it came out better than ever. I just got a full highlight and cut from her for the first time. Not only did she exceed my expectations, she explained to me the various ways hair can be highlighted and helped me manage the damage my hair has been through. It came absolutely beautiful blonde, exactly how I wanted it, with the perfect tone! She is absolutely excellent with children, charged their EarPods, entertained them, and literally makes getting a haircut a whole entire fun experience. They were able to hang in the lounge, watch tv, play, color, and have snacks! She said she wanted her salon to be a “family oriented salon” and when I tell you when you’re there you feel like you are HOME!!! My kids didn’t want to leave and they were actually there with me for hours just waiting. She truly made them and myself feel totally at home and I could not be more thankful. I will Be bringing them both back this week for another cut! Thank you again Heather for making us feel not only beautiful but loved! :)“

“I have always wanted a collar bone length hair but most of hair salons that I chose made my hair way too short that I expected.

Here, Catherine first measured and cut a bit of my hair to the right length and make sure that Im okay with it before a full hair cut. The length was exactly how I wanted, the wait time was very short.

“My bestie and I had a fabulous experience here celebrating her 40th. As the official day spa of the Philadelphia Eagles I knew it would be awesome but it still managed to exceed expectations. We booked time in the Turkish bath as well as massages. If there's one thing you need to know about me, it's that a bitch loves amenities. And Joseph Anthony has them in spades. Before the Turkish bath we were treated to a complimentary foot soak and a mimosa...and even another mimosa when we asked nicely. The spa coordinator Bella did a fabulous job of managing the flow of our day and making sure we were taking full advantage of everything they have to offer. The Turkish bath was a real one of a kind experience that I'd recommend to anyone. We opted for the body scrub thing which we applied ourselves after a brief tutorial. We both felt like some kind of empress from antiquity as we lounged around surrounded by beautiful mosaic tile and gazing at the fake stars. Fabulous experience. For our massages we were lucky enough to have Monica and Gina take care of us. They were both wonderful, professional, and attentive. Our experiences were both everything we had hoped for and we walked out feeling a level of relaxation that was actually slightly disorienting in the best way. But wait, there's more amenities! Afterwards we were taken to the salt room which is a lovely ambient room with comfy lounge chairs, a wall of salt which I guess has benefits beyond "oh that's so pretty," and some delicious chocolate chip cookies. Most unexpected but certainly appreciated! The bathrooms here could be considered an amenity too. The amount of hair and body care products available to use is a testament to the attention to detail Joseph Anthony has cultivated here. I loved everything about this place and I have been dropping not so subtle hints to everyone in my life that a JA gift card makes a fabulous gift! I can't wait to get back.“

“I went for a full body massage, and it was wonderful, very soothing, and just what I needed. As a relates to the business itself. It's a very neatly organized space nicely decorated but not overly done. There are products displayed in the front, but not overtaking the opening of the store and pushing products in your face. One of the most important things is, the staff was very friendly and engaging, but not in an imposing way. Before your appointment if you arrive early, there is tea, coffee, and small pastries. Would I return? Absolutely I'm looking to have monthly massages“

I love the symmetry of the haircut and it grows out beautifully as well. My hair has movement and volume which I was lacking. I feel very pretty with this haircut and the styling effort is minimal.
