I would like to start off by saying I CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH! When i found The Happy Mama Place, i was a first time mom, extremely sick, and TERRIFIED of giving birth. Jessica helped me out in every way she could with natural remedies which i was most comfortable with being i felt it was safest for my baby. We were able to take a hypnobirthing class that taught us exactly what my body would be doing during birth, and that it wasnt something to fear it was a beautiful experience. She taught us breathing techniques, labor positions, and even to this day (my daughter is now 4 months old) Jessica is just a phone call away! I cannot rave about this experience enough. Just came from my induction massage and I screwed up my appointment time and she still fit me in on the same day. She is so sweet, personable and charismatic. You feel instantly comfortable and like you’re with one of your long time friends. I only wish that I had booked her for doula services. Thank you so much, Jess! This was EXACTLY what I needed!!
I visited Jessica for a post partum massage after a difficult labor and hip pain.. she did mayofascia release and I noticed a big difference in the following days so I scheduled more visits. I brought my son with me to the appointment since he was only 4 weeks old and during the massage I was able to breastfeed him on the massage table, which was a pretty unique experience. I would recommend this type of massage to other moms who also had a rough birth and had hip pain..
