“We reached out to Black Label (and several other roofing businesses) earlier this year. Out of all the businesses we met with, Black Label was the best. They stood out for several reasons: Stan made an effort to meet with us at our house, on our time, and on the weekend. He brought hardware and pamphlets to explain what options were available. We were already interested in a standing seam metal roof. While the remaining businesses told us the reasons why we shouldn't go that route, Stan took the time to hear and understand our vision. Black Label was the only business to provide us with a quote for a standing seam option. The price was affordable and within our range.

While it did take some time for Stan's crew to get started, it was worth the wait. The delays were due to us having to wait for other jobs before ours to get completed. There was also a lot of rain earlier this year which may have contributed to the wait.

Prior to the work beginning, all of the metal roofing and supplies were delivered in protective wooden crates.

Once the project began, Stan's crew showed up promptly on time, every day. Our project contained a lot of cuts and angles and the work was tedious. We regularly observed Stan's crew to make sure they were paying attention to detail and we were not let down.

Towards the end of the job, we requested a few changes (one or two scratched panels, some warping in another panel, etc.) Fortunately the issues were contained to one small part of the roof. This is where Stan's excellent customer service shined. He heard our concerns and was prompt in addressing them. After correction, another member of his team did a review of the corrections to ensure that we were satisfied.

Post completion, I ended up having to do some cleanup. There were a lot of nails, cuts of metal roofing, etc. However, we have a lot of landscaping and finding those pieces were exceptions and not the norm.

We live around a lot of trees, so we needed to wait for the leaves to fall to get good pictures of the roof.

Black Label's website explains that they are experts in metal roofing. They are, and we are overly satisfied with the quality, craftsmanship, detail, and personalized customer service from Stan and his team.

If you're in the market for a metal roof, Black Label is the best there is.

Update. Roof still holding up well. 1 problem we experienced was a lot of nails and debris were left in our rain gutters which we did not realize since it is 2 story building. This created a problem with our drainage since gutters are tied into sewer. Had to pay to have sewer drain cleaned twice. Be sure to check your gutters after they are done working.“
