I booked a couples float. Neither of us had tried it before. We didn’t know what to expect. We loved every second from the shower to getting into the tank. We realized we liked floating with the tank completely dark. The controls are in the room so you can adjust the lighting to what you prefer. Next time we are going to turn the music off too. The staff was welcoming and thorough in explaining what to expect and when. It takes no effort to float. Float Therapy was AMAZING! We can’t wait to go back!!
This was really an amazing experience. I booked a session as a gift to myself for a birthday ending in a 0. I wanted to do something that was both different and life affirming to mark the milestone. The float did not disappoint. Set and Setting as they say.Physically, the spa is beautiful and pristine and completely put me in the headspace to make the most of the experience. The scent throughout was light and calming. The lighting got progressively dimmer as you transition from the front desk, to the prep area, to the ultimate float tub. I've been coming to Victory Float in Lawrenceville for about 2 years now and have a 4 float/month membership plan. That probably tells you most of what you need to know about my feelings on the establishment and experience, but here are a few specific things that are particularly important to me:1. The tanks are large enough to stretch in; I use about 15 minutes of my time in the tank to go through a brief stretch routine that really helps with my upper back/shoulder/hip tightness and posture. I'm 5'10 and can comfortably extend my arms fully above my head and extend my legs with my toes just barely touching the edge.2. Allows for full darkness/no sound.... read full review
