I've been struggling with long covid for almost 7 weeks now. I'm long past testing negative. They are seriously the most caring and accommodating doctor's office that I've ever been to. They are connected to St. Margaret's hospital, so anything they can't do at this office, they send you to the hospital as an out-patient. They really take the time to listen to you, and I never feel rushed.Yes, you might not get the same doctor every time, but they do take the time to go over your notes and listen to you. I wouldn't go anywhere else.Thank you, seriously
I've been going here for a year now. They've helped me manage my Type 1 diabetes, my psychiatric needs, and even cut/drained an embarrassingly large cyst from my face. All the while they've been personable, informative, and have matched my sense of humor, making me ultra comfortable in the space.Because of my diabetes, I go every 3-4 months for checkups and it's very rare that the wait time is more than 5-10 minutes before I'm taken in back, and usually just a few minutes before I'm face-to-face with my doctor.I've had a lot of experience with a lot of clinics and doctors over the years (unfortunately). But this has been the most consistently positive experience I've ever had with a clinic and its full staff.I've not had any ultra-serious issues while going to this clinic, so I can't speak on emergency care or things of that sort, but for someone who moved to Pittsburgh at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and needed a comprehensive care plan, I was nervous about it and greatly relieved that UPMC Lawrenceville Family Health Center was as good as it is.
I have had good experiences here with the doctors and nurses they are all very pleasant and helpful. This is considered a primary care office used for sick calls, checkup and physicals. The doctors are all residents so it’s hard to get close to anyone of them in particular because you won’t always see the same doctor. Unless requested then you can schedule with them specifically. But there’s no garuntee because I’ve had doctors who ended up moving on.
