“I have had an excellent experience taking both private and group lessons with Selena. She is attentive, positive and organized, and goes the extra mile for her clients. I have been able to achieve milestones with my dog that I didn't think were possible until I started working with Selena. She is also really connected to the dog community in Pittsburgh and can help you find other resources if needed. 10/10, sign up for a class and you won't regret it!“

Pawsitive K9 Behavior School Pet Boarding Training

“I cannot say enough positive things about Pawsitive K9! We have had a truly amazing experience working with Maureen, Bridget and Luke. We enrolled our GSD puppy, Zuzu, in their puppy preschool to give her a solid foundation of obedience, neutrality and socialization before she reached adolescence. They've made training so easy for us - they teach and reinforce new skills in her training days, then provide me with detailed email recaps/instructions and videos to show me how to reinforce her new skills at home in-between lessons. They are super responsive, knowledgable and create a safe space where I know I can ask them anything, any time. Zuzu is now the MOST chill puppy I have ever met and I feel like I have the skillset as her dog-mom if we encounter anything in the future as she grows up or in new environments. I owe it all to Pawsitive K9!!! Thank you, Maureen, Bridget and Luke for everything!“

Splash 'n Dash K9 Sports, Inc Pet Boarding Training

“This is a dog training *club*, so there are many different trainers. You do not have to be a club member to take classes.

All the trainers I have met so far seem competent, and they all are seriously passionate about dogs! The facility is beautiful, with a huge variety of equipment for training, and they offer a wide variety of classes.
My only gripe about Splash ‘n’ Dash is that I have to drive 25 minutes from Pittsburgh to get there ?“

“I have been working with Matt for several months and I have to say his depth of understanding TWC training runs deep. Getting certified in something is one thing but truly understanding all the facets of the training and being able to teach it is something truly extraordinary. I find Ivan Balabanov's philosophy with dogs deep, intricate and genius. Matt has really a talent for capturing this genius work and is able to articulate the teachings to me in a way that I have constant light bulb moments. The relationship with my dog continues to grow in positive ways and our play is finally taking off. I can't wait for magic to really happen! But I know I will get there because I have Matt on my side helping me achieve my goals for my best friend and I.“

Chubby Puppy Daycare Pet Boarding Training

“I've been taking my dog to Chubby Puppy for several years now. She is a pit bull, & Chubby has helped her be socialized. She gets excited when I tell her we're going there. She goes twice a week. I've also had to take her everyday when my work schedule changed. They are very accommodating. Prices are reasonable. I've also taken her there for classes. My niece takes her 2 dogs there also. One of them is deaf with vision issues. They only take so many dogs each day. They have so many regulars. I've used other daycares & they are over crowded. I highly recommend them.“

“Awesome place that our dog, Frankie, LOVES! We started coming here after meeting Samantha at an event. We are nervous owners with a somewhat nervous dog, but he comes back tired & happy! Samantha & all of the staff always welcome Frankie by name, they treat him like a tiny king! When we call for updates, they are super sweet & really take the time to check in. They seem to do a good job of monitoring playgroups, too. They always make sure his needs & ours are met! Such a loving group here & we are so grateful to find them ❤️“

“I dropped Buster Brown off for his first day of daycare today. Word must’ve gotten around about him from when I stopped to look around last week because he was greeted by name when we walked in. They were so excited to see him! They were pretty thorough with intake and updated me by text sating he passed his temperament test. 10/10 recommend“
