The people that work here are friendly. The facility itself is weirdly a bit depressing and dystopian...pool out of operation since 2020 and seems likely that it's never getting fixed. Only a few kettlebells of various weights laying around different areas, and surprised to find not a single resistance band.
Also, for such a large gym with so many machines, I joined fully expecting to find a prone hamstring curl machine to be able to do eccentric hamstring curls as part of my physical therapy regimen (the seated ones are a pain to do these on), and I did find one, with a "scheduled for maintenance" paper stuck to it that is so worn down,... read full review

Never been to an LA Fitness before today, so I was a bit nervous. The entire staff, especially Roderick were extremely helpful and attentive for a first timer. I will definitely be back again.

It can get busy, I like the energy of this location. People come to workout not to be sitting on machines on their phones. Also feels inclusive, people of all different backgrounds. For the lgbtq community, this is “the gay gym”
