I just got home from a Cardio Sculpt class and it was my favorite. But that is how I felt last night after the Control class and 2 nights ago after Center and Balance! Oh, and the Suspend class and Flow classes are my favorites too! Joined about 16 months ago and signed up for unlimited classes which cost more than other gyms but I knew that I would go to get my money's worth. However, I LOVE these classes and the physical and mental impact each class brings. It is 50 minutes of ME time and all I have to think about is moving in and out and strengthening my body. After a year of attending Club Pilates 4-5 times a week I can honestly say I have never felt stronger physically. The other unexpected benefit I have experienced is mental clarity - taking 50 minutes for myself has improved my life significantly. On an instructor level - I have found Deonna, Regina, and Tiffany to be the most robust instructors in the Galleria location. Deonna brings immense energy and vitality into every class she teaches. Regina is fun and challenging (in a very good way), and Tiffany's classes are so smooth and flow with expert planning that the class is over before you know it. I was never able to find an exercise program that I would stick with consistently until I found Club Pilates South Hills. Flexible classes & schedules, patient & fun instructors, no class is ever the same and easily modifiable movements that helped me build confidence and my skill level even through injury. The 50 minute classes provide much needed 'me time' that I find very meditative - once I get on the reformer, I block everything else out and focus only on the instructor's voice. Having never even attempted a plank when I started 3 years ago, they were quite a challenge for me and my 'weak arms' at first but with the support of the... read full review
