In May 2023, I experienced a life-altering car accident that was not my fault, caused by a police chase where suspects struck my car from behind at very high speed. This resulted in lasting lower lumbar and neck injuries, leaving me in intense daily pain and unable to engage in my previous active lifestyle. This led to a spiral of depression and coping mechanisms that caused my weight to increase from 171 pounds to 219 pounds by March 2024, significantly impacting my personal and professional life. During a visit to Allegheny Medical Center, I discovered a weight loss program led by Dakota M. Despite initial skepticism in a time of quick-fix weight loss fads, I was determined to find a natural and sustainable solution. After thorough research and conversations with Dakoda, I became convinced that this program was the key to regaining my health. For 12 weeks, I fully committed to following Dakoda's guidance. He taught me to reshape my relationship with food, prioritize my mental and physical well-being, and, most importantly, commit to my recovery. As a result, I have achieved a weight of 176 pounds, just 5 pounds away from my pre-accident weight. Dakota has empowered me with the courage, confidence, discipline, and self-empathy needed to make an incredible comeback. I now walk an average of 4 miles daily, work diligently, and maintain peak mental and physical health. I know my mind and body better. Dakoda isn't just a professional; he is a friend, philosopher, and guide. I am forever grateful to him and will continue to support him. I strongly encourage everyone reading this to give Dakoda's program a try. It can change your life, just as it has transformed mine. From a dark valley of despair, I have emerged more assertive personally and professionally. While setbacks can make you stronger, having a friend, philosopher, and guide like Dakoda makes the comeback achievable. Don't wait if you're struggling with weight problems, as Dakota's caring professionalism can guide you on your journey. The 12 weeks will change your life if you follow his advice and remain focused, which is not hard.
I called Allegheny Medical at the last minute after the DMV messed up my paperwork and were requiring me to get a DOT physical even though I didn’t need one to drive a school bus. I called Allegheny Medical and asked if there was any way I could get some help. They gladly told me to come in and they would find a way to get me examined. Dr. Drew stayed into his lunch time to do my physical and get me on my way! Both myself and the transportation company are very thankful!
