I went to the vet with a very sick cat, and it was clear given her age amount of weight she lost and the symptoms that she should've been put down, but instead of that being something that was discussed, discussed about heroic measures to prolong the life for a short time with no guarantee of how much suffering would be experienced after spending over $500 for tests? I made the decision to put my furr baby down. the decision was made a few days later I made another appointment and brought her in. I called twice last week, on Tuesday and Thursday, leaving messages for Dr. Fig about my very sick pet that she had seen the week prior. She told me to call to get further instructions but she was apparently out sick all week and even though I was told my messages would be passed to another vet, nobody called me. On Friday night, my cat took a major turn for the worse and was in extreme distress due to difficulty breathing. This was the most annoying nail trimming appointment from start to finish. I was told that I needed a wellness check to trim my sweet dogs nails. At $150.00! Then they had to take $75.00 up front. When did we start taking money before service?! I was out of options as to where to take her so we went with it. We were ushered back to a little room where we proceeded to wait 15 minutes past our scheduled time. Then sent to another littlr room where the 'vet' was sitting at examine table. She did not get up.
