I recently started a real estate brokerage in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia, and hired Yikes to create www.jg-realestate.com. Their price was very competitive, coming out far below what other firms were charging. When they said that they wanted to build it on a Wordpress platform, I was a little bit confused, having thought that Wordpress was for blogging. They knew something that I clearly didn't; WP is a very powerful platform, making it very easy to edit site content and promote the site using SEO best practices. They were nice at a meeting - but what was needed for our site they consulted, and wasted time... finally offering "What you want is magic - It can't be done!" Wow! Not a "perhaps try it this comparable way" or a "We can try to point you in the right direction" or even "We can't do it, sorry..." Insulting, degrading and worse of all - a non-intelligent, lacking tech skills Internet company! their websites are lame, amateurish and I sense they prey on overtly non-technical & frightened-of-electricity crowd. What a disservice they are to Ben Franklin & all things non-corrupt!
