I have been to Duke, 5 or 6 times now over the past 2 years. Most recently I have had 3 cuts in a row, and become a regular, with Preston.
Preston is super diligent and has given me a great haircut each time! To me consistency in the haircut world is hard to come by and Preston gets it done right, I have difficult hair to cut too!
Duke is a real relaxed atmosphere and from each of my experiences and watching others get haircut when I am there, work is done at a relaxed, methodical pace. I love this shop! My boyfriend has been coming here for a few years, he gets his beard done by Ray every few weeks. I came in with him while we were running errands one day, and then I just kept coming with him for fun because the staff are amazing. I got my first service (women's cut and color) by Denise today and I couldn't be happier!
One of the best spots to get a cut in Philly. Unfortunately due to covid they had to close their other two stores in the city but that just means the best one stayed standing and I promise you it is worth the drive. Very friendly, great vibes, well educated in their art of Hair & you leave feeling like you made a new friend. Deff we'll be back.
