Scheduling an MRI-guided biopsy is so difficult with Jefferson. I've originally went to Jefferson East Norriton for an MRI, and they caught something suspicious that could potentially be breast cancer. I have a family history. My doctor immediately prescribed me to get an MRI-guided biopsy but wanted me to go back to Jefferson for the test so it could be done on the same machine. It has been a month, and Jefferson kept giving me the run-around. I've called everyday for the past month and was transferred from one group to another, all pointing that I needed to call this one specific phone number to schedule. Yet, this number never called me back. I'd call Jefferson again and again, but no one else could help me, including their centralized scheduling group. I finally decided to switch to the Main Line Women Health, and they were able to get me on their schedule in 1 day! Yes, 1 day as opposed to a month! It was utmost important that I get this biopsy done, in case I have breast cancer. Somehow Jefferson doesn't think it's that important. I have other doctors in the Jefferson network, but if I need any tests done, I will go to another network.

Save yourself and don't go here. In March , I was sent for an ultrasound. ($100 to me) I was told I had a large mass on my right side. I was told i needed to contact a doctor and get a ct scan with dye. Possible surgery. I had to have lab work. Then I had a ct scan. Results -a small mass on my left side. Dr app ($40) sent for more labs. All negative. Ct scan with dye again in 6 months. (Out of network as I do not trust Jefferson) . Ct scan done with dye($275). Everything negative. I have had multiple lab work, dye placed in my body, unnecessary ct scans. Drs appointments again ($40). Jefferson should pay for everything. Should apologize . Should review their radiology staff.
