It's scary to try a new hair salon, but Salon JKU put all my fears to rest with a very positive, relaxing, competent, and friendly haircut experience. After trying another high-rated salon in Philly and having a hairdresser try and fail to thin out my very thick hair for two hours, I did some research and came across Salon JKU. Even though they don't don't have an online booking platform, it was fairly easy to make an email inquiry, then book a time within the week over the phone.
