Dr. Verna is hands down the best eye doctor I've ever worked with, and I've been wearing glasses since I was about 8 years old.Today, I brought my husband along for his first-ever eye doctor appointment, and we had our three kids with us (ages 1, 2, and 3). From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, which is no small feat when you have three little ones in tow.The staff even gave each of our kids a pair of complimentary sunglasses, which they absolutely loved. It was such a thoughtful touch and really helped keep them entertained during our visit.I had assured my husband that Dr. Verna is the best in the business. After today, he wholeheartedly agrees. Dr. Verna's professionalism, warmth, and expertise made his first experience not only pleasant but actually enjoyable. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure he felt at ease throughout the entire process.A special shout-out to JANELLE, who helped my husband find the PERFECT fitting frames for his face. It was unbelievable—she looked at his face once and grabbed the exact fit. His new glasses look fantastic, and he couldn’t be happier with them.I cannot recommend Modern Optometry enough. Despite my insurance no longer being accepted here, I decided to continue visiting because of how much I love this office. “I have been using the Eye Institute at their Chestnut Hill Office. I am very pleased there. I not only get exams there, I also buy my glasses there. The glasses are sold by a separate company but opticians know their business. This time I went to their main Eye Institute office because my glasses were not sitting or closing correctly. I was able to be seen, even though it was very close to closing hours. The optician took great care of me and fixed my glasses. They now fit perfectly and I have no more fear of them not closing properly. I highly recommend the Eye Institute.“
