If you are ever in the Germantown area and are looking for a good place to get your hair "did," stop by Ms. Odessa's Beauty Shop. All of the hair stylists there are talented, though my favorite is Shelly. Ms. Odessa herself is very talented but is better with working with kids or older adults. If left unguided with young adults hair, she tends to create a plethora of waterfalls and is occasionally known to break out the glitter spray. The shop is very welcoming and a place where you can have genuine and thought provoking conversation while getting your hair done. The only problem is that, not unique to just this salon, you may find yourself waiting a bit, even if you have an appointment. Otherwise, these ladies are talented and know how to take care of your hair.
