Many customers have been visiting for years, often traveling long distances for the experience and unbeatable prices. The shop has a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of old-school barbershops, where conversations flow and the scents of barbicide and hair gel fill the air. I've been by here 4 times now. I got 1 good haircut, 2 GREAT haircuts, and 1 really really bad haircut. Bruno, the owner, gave me a pretty good haircut my first visit, good enough to make me go back. 2nd visit, Charlie cut my hair. Phenomenal cut! Charlie is very attentive and thorough. Final lines are straight as an arrow, and sides are balanced. 3rd cut, yeah......the lady on the front left chair took me because Charlie was leaving for the day. Without exaggeration the worst haircut of my life. I had to go buy a hat to cover it up while it grew back in, and I HATE wearing hats. 4th visit was back to Charlie and was not disappointed. I'm rating my first haircut (not from mom) from 25 years ago. Bruno, who doesn't appear to have aged at all, did a fine job. This was at their original location at the Roosevelt Mall. I was 4 years old and cried like a baby, but I never looked better. I remember wanting to come back to the oldschool barbershop with dad every few weeks and then hit the hobby shop. You would walk in, and everyone was talking, having a good time. The smells of barbicide and hair gel filled the air, such a pleasant scent. I plan on coming back soon for another haircut, with my dad.
