I called in advance (10 min ahead) to see if I could schedule an appointment they said it was okay to come in for same day as they weren't as busy hallelujah ! I walked in temp was taken, questionnaire hands were sanitized Covid was avoided at all cost! Then the magic began Issac washed my hair and it was like talking to an old family friend that you see once a year at the annual cookout. The whole shop was so friendly. We spoke of products that I use to maintain my hair and they admitted my hair was healthy so that's a plus because they aren't trying to sell you anything you don't need! I have been going to Models Ink (Nakia) since the salon first opened. The salon is located on a great location with plenty of street parking. Nakia is my main stylist, she is the queen of the Bob hair cut. I always get a warm greeting by Miss Theresa and the salon is always clean and there is always great conversation in the salon when I am there. Nakia is a great stylist and I am glad she is my stylist.

This salon has truly changed. There was once a time you could come in get your hair done and relax. Great laughs and movies. Now all you see is drama. The salon owner rolls her eyes behind other stylist and clients back. They openly talk behind the shampoo guys back and he seemed like one of the most pleasant people there. I'm not sure who the guy stylist is but he's very ignorant and makes offensive comments. I'd rather get my hair done in someone's kitchen than come to this place filled with unnecessary drama.
