The actual optometrist was fast, courteous, and very professional. All but one front desk staff member is snide and lazy for instance I didn’t get my sample eye contacts for 4 months because one of them dialed my number wrong and didn’t bother to double check with anyone else. Feels like a waste of time when I come here. They seem annoyed by customers like man if I could afford lasik surgery I would’ve done it years ago and done away with needing places like this.
Great experience at America's Best - Columbus Blvd. The optometrist was very knowledgeable and caring. I explained to a staff person that to me that is the differentiator. You can purchase glasses or contacts anywhere, but getting a good exam and consultation on your eyes is critical. I also had a great experience at the City Avenue location. Maybe the leadership of the company has figured out they have to compete by having some of the best optometrists, and I believe they are some if the best !
The doctors and the person who did take care of my glasses are very nice but the employees there are very rude. I came today to do eye exam and purchase glasses, one of the employees was standing at the door with her nasty face looking at me and said nothing. The same person almost hit me when i wanted to get out of the store but she didn’t say sorry or even look at me, she just talked to other employees and pretended i wasn’t there. She just shouldn’t be there!
