I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Marsha at Flying High. Riggs just finished his beginner obedience class, and I am so pleased with the progress he’s made. He and I both enjoy working through the new skills practiced in class. Marsha is patient, knowledgeable, and good at explaining things in a way that just make sense. She never rushed anyone and made sure each dog/owner team felt supported. I really appreciated how she celebrated the small wins just as much as the big ones. Marsha is no holds barred when it comes to evaluating body language and the connection between human and canine, setting you up for success. The classes were well-structured, positive, and fun. I left each week feeling more confident, and Riggs left happy and tired (a huge bonus!). Being able to practice skills with other dog/handler couples and distractions really takes it up a notch as far as real-life, functional skills. If you’re looking for an obedience class that’s encouraging, effective, and run by someone who genuinely loves what she does, I HIGHLY recommend Flying High. Riggs and I will definitely be back for the next level in the Spring!
Per Grace the Frenchie “My mom needed some help with her communication skills. I spent two weeks with Marsha in boarding training and showed her what a good girl I was. I made new friends and sent Mom videos so she wouldn’t miss me too much. Then I signed Mom up for the beginner’s class. There Marsha taught her how to work with me in a positive way. Marsha was very informative and helpful. Mom and I are doing so much better! We are both looking forward to signing up for the intermediate class next."
Marsha was absolutely PHENOMENAL with my corgi, Joel!!! Before starting his board and train program with her, he would nip, bark excessively, ignore his name, and test anything and everything that he could get away with. Yesterday, I picked him up from his 14 day stay with Marsha and he is a completely new dog. Even small things that we are continuing to work on are so much easier now that he has learned the structure and guidance that she showed him in his time there. I am so very excited to spend Joel’s life with him, so much more now that we understand each other. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for Marsha and her family for the things they’ve taught him, the care he had while there, and the genuine love shown to him.
