Mike from Best Contracting thoroughly investigated the situation and determined I had inadequate roof ridge ventilation, nor did I have proper ventilation from the bathroom ceiling exhaust fans to the outside vents. I got 2-3 estimates but I was confident with Mike. He went into that exceedingly hot attic, got measurements inside, and on the roof. He answered my questions with clarity, and patience, was clear as to what needed to be done to correct the problems. He presented himself with confidence, professionalism, honesty, excellent people skills and customer service. He arrived to the site on time, worked conscientiously, and completed the tasks for the day in a timely fashion. His price was reasonable. “I interviewed several different deck builders before deciding on Double E Construction for a screened in rear deck with roof. My old deck had rotting wood with no roof and was not screened in. The process began with a free consultation. The kind and friendly gentleman took measurements of my deck and ended with him giving me a portfolio of different products to choose from. After the initial meeting and making the choice to move forward with them to build my project, I received a proposal which clearly outlined transparency for all costs and written verification of liability insurance and workman’s comp for its employees. From the very beginning Ephraim was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. Once the builder solidified obtaining permits, the work began. A crew of personable and professional craftsmen was sent who showed up on time every day (weather permitting). The old deck was torn down and all debris removed in a timely fashion. If there were any last-minute changes or ideas, he and his crew immediately incorporated them into the build without hassle. Within a few weeks the job was complete. I’m VERY HAPPY to say that the deck looks better than I expected, and I am VERY PLEASED with the finished product. “From the very first meeting with John, we had a great feeling about proceeding with Forest Ridge to help us design and build our home. Everyone was very helpful throughout the process, and we were not shy about asking a LOT of questions. Every one of John's crew, and those he chose to subcontract with were responsive, respectful, and professional. “I had a wonderful experience working with L&H Construction on a 2 car garage addition along with a whole house refresh update with new siding, doors and windows. They handled the whole process of applying for the Variance with the Township that was required in order be able to build the 2 car garage addition due to setback requirements on the property. The excellent support they provided throughout the entire process resulted in getting the Variance approved which was a major accomplishment that required a lot of work to accomplish. Once the project began the entire team from L&H were outstanding to work with. They provided excellent communication once the project began and the project manager and foreman reached out to me directly and communicated regularly throughout the entire project.The entire L&H team was always very responsive from providing the initial quote and being flexible during the project to make many additional changes I requested as the project progressed. The quality of workmanship of the entire project was outstanding and the results of the garage addition and whole house exterior upgrade were absolutely stunning. Shortly thereafter structural work including deep concrete footers and a tie in process to the house beams left me thinking it could support a 5 story building. From there everything went smoothly to completion.
