Quaint little VFW nestled in this old residential building. The one thing I don't care for on VFW's in Pennsylvania is that they still allow smoking. However they do have a covered porch out front that you can grab chairs and tables and sit at.

I have been to may VFW’s with my husband, however This was the best experience!
Not only was this Post clean, it was decorated beautifully.
With bars that allow smoking ventilation I always am issues.... I don’t smoke so I’m a bit sensitive to very very Smokey Bars. Ventilation is new and works great! Big win for me.

Food has been consistent, even with the bar tenders being the cooks also.

Members are open and friendly. This is not the typical “older crowd”... people of all ages!

Great place to visit and a must try Post!

My husband & I visited this VFW tonight. They treated us like family, we had a blast! We're both going to become Auxiliary Members $25/yr. Nice people, good food, fun games, beer on tap, mixed drinks. Had a blast! Thanks to all who showed us the ropes tonight!

The Home Association of the Palmyra Memorial VFW Post 6417 operates a canteen to serve food and drinks that will generate funds to support Veterans and their families within our community. We offer private room rentals, fundraising, small games of skill, raffles, drawings, bingo, and special event nights. Live music on occasion, fairly priced adult beverages, and the best membership in town!
