“I visited Aunt Jayne with my dogs today 4/10/24. As I leave this review they are so content resting after their spa day. I waited with my dogs and saw the amazing care they were given with Jayne and Mike. I was allowed to stay with my dogs to try to keep them comfortable, but I know now that I can leave them with Aunt Jayne and they will be okay. Before my appointment I talked to Jayne on the phone and she answered each and every question I had. We were talking for quite some time and she seemed happy to help me with anything I needed. I got recommendations for treats and tooth care because I needed advice. In my opinion Jayne is a small town woman with a small town business and I am happy she is close to home. “I've been coming to puffy paws for almost 2 years now. They always do a great job taking care of my dog. They are so accommodating as well!“

“6 years, 3 different training facilities, CBD, and doggie Prozac with no results. We were so desperate to find help for our girl so we decided to stop in to Convergent and just have a conversation. Dog training is not “one size fits all” and this was the first time that a trainer listened to what we needed and built a program specifically for our dog. Chip did a free evaluation which consisted of him coming to my home to really get to know and understand my dog in her environment. One of the previous trainers we hired took $150 for an in home evaluation, told me to get a can of pet corrector and a prong collar for a dog with fear and anxiety. We made the decision to go all in and take a chance on Chip, Brittney and team and the results have been amazing! We have gone from a dog that would lunge at cars, bark at birds and leaves and anything that move, and lose her sh!t if we had to pass another dog to a calm, well behaved dog that stays at my hip with no pulling. She is still a work in progress and Chip continues to spend time with us outside of the facility. We even take trips to Home Depot and I got a compliment from a stranger about how well trained my dog was. Never in a million years would I have thought we could even step foot inside a store with my dog. Chip and team have given us a dog that we can now enjoy instead of keeping her locked up in the house. They also offered to work with my other dog that needs a few manner adjustments. You will not be disappointed with this team and you will see results because they care.“

“We have two wired hair dachshunds that need to be stripped as part of their grooming routine. We take Brutus and Stella to Pittsburgh from Wheeling to Donna at the Platinum Pooch Pet Salon & Spa. The pups always look wonderful when groomed. Donna does an excellent job and the pups really like her. We appreciate everything she does for us, especially how accommodating she is to the fact that we drive over an hour and a half for our appointments. She takes to grumpy tired pups and gives us back to happy pups. They love to get groomed by Donna. Thank you for doing such a good job with a highly specialized service (Hand Stripping).“

“Honestly my one dog is so bad at getting his nails cut that other groomers have said sorry we can’t get to his nails he didn’t let us. Theresa, the owner, has never said that. She makes sure she gets them cut and my dog listens to her. She also doesn’t make him bleed like you would think since he is so bad with it. She somehow makes him stay still. Literally thank god for her because without her I wouldn’t have anyone who would cut my dog pacos nails.“

“My cat accidentally knocked over a candle and stepped in hot wax (I felt terrible!!). I told Elle he should probably get his hind leg shaved and she told me if it were her cat, she would recommend just bathing and only shaving if it were medically necessary. I very much appreciated her knowledge and professionalism in knowing how to help my kitty. She got all the candle wax off and was patient with my grumpy boy (he does not like baths!) and recommended what brush I should use in the future as well as noticing he did have a bit of a burn on his hind leg (again, #CatMomFail). Her attention to detail and care of my cat is why I'll be bringing him back in the future!“

“Grooming and baked goods for your dogs and they do a great job on both. The bakery has decorated baked goods that look delicious to the human eye. They have other products for your fur babies as well. They sell some dog foods and accessories. The shop is a delight. They also provide grooming services. My grand-dog goes there and she always looks puffy and perfect when she is groomed. They are patient and kind. Bring ya wallet-they are pricey with their products, but you get what you pay for too. Parking is on the street. Shop was clean and handicap accessible.“

“Our last visit was just to get Rocky’s nails trimmed. He’s a miniature pincher so a bit nervous. They took him back right away trimmer his nails and brought him back in less than five minutes. He wasn’t too stressed so neither was I. Thanks again.“
