I recommend this place for anyone needing a therapeutic massage to address specific issues! They also do relaxation massage, but I've not tried that yet. I've had a 90 min corrective massage by Adam Miller weekly for one month now, and have seen great improvement in my problem areas. I'm a three time cancer survivor with lots of scar tissue, nerve trauma and lymphnode issues. Adam took lots of time to learn my history, concerns, and plan an approach during our first visit (not included in table time), which included addressing the root of each issue and not just symptoms. He cares very much about doing his best for everyone who walks through that front door, and it shows. There's never a dull moment in our conversation either, which helps take my mind off the pain that comes with corrective massage for me. Though he's also very careful not to apply more pressure than necessary / I can handle. The room and heated table are comfortable, and Covid safety protocols are closely followed - much appreciated with me being immunocompromised. You also get your choice of music. The location is easy to get to and next to a very cute scenic field. The entrance is aound back of the yellow Farmhouse in my last pic.

After bunion surgery, I sustained limited mobility from being confined to a wheelchair for 6 weeks. Then after advancing to wearing a boot to ambulate, I threw my back out. Needless to say, I was certainly out of shape. I needed to try “something” so I could go back to my teaching job. A friend recommended Proactive Muscle Therapy. When I arrived at Proactive Muscle Therapy I was using a walker. I went for therapy once a week and within a month I was able to walk using a cane; and after 2 months I could walk unassisted. I received a combination of therapies from deep tissue massage to reiki, to soft tissue and aromatherapy from four different therapists to work on the various aspects of my healing. Each therapist was professional, knowledgeable of medical issues and needs, and had an unbelievable healing sense of touch that I had never before experienced from any other massage therapists. My complete medical history was taken into account and the therapy that I was given was tailored to my body’s needs. During the month that I was prescribed steroids by my rheumatologist, the therapists even knew that the deep tissue massage would have been counterproductive and another type of massage was prescribed. I credit Proactive Muscle Therapy, the intimate knowledge and “sense” that they have of the body, and the high standards that they practice for bringing me back to my former pre-surgery functioning abilities. I highly recommend this group!!! Thank you everyone!!!
