“I moved to Monongahela 3 years ago and before that I was getting my balayages done in Pittsburgh at an extremely expensive price. Due to the price and the sheer distance I wanted to find a stylist closer to home. I had heard of a place around the corner from me and the photos looked promising so I crossed my fingers and went. Well as you can see it didn’t turn out well AT ALL. My hair was fried, orange and uneven. I didn’t think it could be fixed. … But I did a lot of research on color correction and Susan Jo’s Salon kept coming up as one of the best. I called them told them my concerns and immediately they asked me to send in photos and within 2 days I was in with Lauren. Who BTW was the stylist I was hoping to get because she has done so many color corrections, and from the reviews everyone was saying how great she was at it. Now I am in agreement 100%. I will NEVER EVER go anywhere else. The staff is amazing. The atmosphere was fun. The price is beyond fair. I can’t say enough about them. Just look at the pictures they speak for themselves

She listened to all of my hair concerns, took time to learn about my hair type and daily styling routines, and what I thought I would need for my day to day life. She listened to all of my concerns and desires, and absolutely made the entire experience so positive. She took additional time to listen to my typical styling routines and gave me detailed advice as to how to manage my hair texture as well as showed me step by step styling and product recommendations. Getting your hair done for the first time (in about ten years) can be very scary, but Marie assuaged any concern I had and made it such a truly wonderful and fun experience!

“After the loss of my hairdresser and wonderful friend after 20 years I have not been able to find someone who I felt I could trust, and after friends telling me to give Sam and April a chance, they got me in quickly... and I am beyond happy, they were very welcoming and the shop is warm and inviting, happy, engaging and extremely knowledgeable with color and cut, Sam is amazing, April even looked over my hair with some suggestions and that made me feel like I mattered , conversation was fun, I will definitely go back!!
