After months of letting my hair grow, this guy cut my hair extremely short and uneven. This is a good place for short hair style. Don't go there is you are looking for other type of style.
I accepted a barber shop recommendation from a hotel employee in Plymouth Meeting, and did not regret it after leaving this barber shop. The facility itself is clean, the barbers are entertaining, and the overall atmosphere of the venue is quite professional. My barber (Jarrett) did an exceptional job cutting my hair, in addition to having his shampoo girl give me a good wash in the sink directly across from the chair. If there is anything of concern with this shop, its of the parking. Very limited, to say the least. If you park across the street in the small lot adjacent to private residences, there is a good chance that you will be towed. DO NOT PARK IN THAT LOT!!! The barbers recommended that I park a block up and on the street. If parking there, definitely read the signs to avoid being towed or ticketed. I got lucky and parked a few blocks down the street in a lot owned by a Korean restaurant and mentioned to the owner that I would return to the restaurant for lunch in order to avoid having my vehicle towed (he was cool about it). Overall, this barbershop is a welcome throwback to the types of shops that I was used to while growing up in the 80s. Great conversation, comfortable setting, and a somewhat sassy shampoo girl (she was cool), you'll definitely like Culbreath's. The next time that I'm in town, I'll be heading back here for sure. You should too.
