“I was sitting someone's kitty for them while they underwent surgery. Things went fine for a week then the little boy stopped peeing and pooping. I offered to take him to whichever vet was preferred and ended up at Newville Animal Hospital. Service was quick and friendly. I liked Lexi, the vet tech, who listened carefully while I explained my concerns. The tech trainees were also friendly, attentive, and careful when handling Mr. Hunter. Dr. Hasco was great -- very friendly, gentle, and I appreciated how he listened, carefully, to understand our concerns and Mr. Hunter's symptoms. In the end, treatment was minimal and seemingly effective and he's back with mom and doing fine but the visit offered some assurance and peace of mind while I had custody of Mr. Hunter. Finally, this is a veterinarian without pretense -- unlike, perhaps, some more fancy offices closer to Camp Hill (Im thinking of Good Hope in particular). There's no free coffee or fireplace but there are small bottles of refrigerated water; instead, the office is comfortable, clean, and efficiently run. I do wish there was a way to divide for noisy animals versus quiet ones but otherwise no complaints.“
“The PetVet Wellness Center is a great asset to the community. We've taken several of our pets here and always get the care we need. The vets are knowledgeable and helpful!“
“Love this place! My dogs drag me in the door! Everyone is so nice and helpful. Highly recommend!!“
“I have only been with Shippensburg Animal Hospital for a short time but I have had good experiences. Dr. Benner has been our primary doctor as we are experiencing some problems with one of our dogs. She took a considerable amount of time explaining the possible issue and all the options going forward to help her. I was so impressed. Never has a veterinarian been so considerate and taken that amount of time to answer all our questions and give us insight like that as to what is going on. Not only that, they saved me hundreds dollars if not more by NOT doing a bunch of useless tests and instead just focusing on and testing for what the actual problem might be. Problem found quickly and now we are working on finding the proper dose of medication to control the issue. Our prior vet was taking advantage of us as far as I'm concerned. I am so very grateful for the support from our new veterinary clinic. All of the staff has been wonderful, personable and helpful.“
