“Newtown Square Veterinary Hospital treats me and my two Yorkies Marcel & Miso like family. My boys love coming here and getting attention from all of the staff. They are knowledgeable, informative, and true animal lovers. The wait is never bad. We always get seen on time. The rooms are always clean and pretty spacious. My questions and concerns are always answered carefully and throughly. My pets never return fearful because they are so gentle with them. They quickly get records over to me when I need to send them to other places. They are slightly more expensive than others in the area but the quality of care is unmatched! I’m lucky they are so close to me because finding a good vet can be a nightmare. Having them on my side makes me a much better pet owner.“

“First took our 6 year old cat here a few months ago for an illness visit after deciding to switch vets from a vet we were previously seeing in New Jersey. From the moment we walked in we knew immediately he was in good hands and have then decided to take the rest of our cats here as well.

The staff here are friendly, patient with both humans and animals & very knowledgeable. In both times we have been to the Fishtown office; I have had no doubt about the care our cats have received, have left the office feeling like any concerns or questions I have had were heard and answered and that our cats were well taken care of.

Wicky and Samantha Jones look forward to their spa day. They get baths, massages, facials, pawdicures, sanis with booty grooming. All services performed with love! Definitely recommend.“

“Dr. Herman has been great helping me with my cat that has stage 3 kidney disease. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. All the staff have been very nice and the atmosphere of the office is very homey, unlike the sterile feel of other animal hospitals. This hospital is a 30 minute drive for me but I will continue to make it for the wonderful care my kitty has gotten. He even likes it when he’s there even though he hates the car ride. “My wife and I came in with our pet holland lop and Dr Goodman provided exceptional care with the check up and we learned a lot about our rabbit from head to tail in a very thorough fashion. We had no idea that rabbit’s molars develop spurs from chewing and Dr Goodman was able to identify this problem and resolve the issue and make our rabbit happy again- we will definitely be back.“

I called and emailed dozens of vets in the Philly/Greater Philly area, and Just For Cats was the only one willing and able to help me and my cat, even though she is not a patient with them. “Dr Rose DiLeva is a very kind, intelligent Doctor. She has treated three of our dogs one for chicken allergies ( we had no idea) one with acupuncture for a torn acl which previous vet wanted immediate surgery. Currently treated our new rescue for seizures! In the last four months after Dr Rose has given acupuncture and concentrated herbs by prescription. We have seen a remarkable success. We also love that she doesn’t overbook and is so patient with all of our questions. We highly recommend her and her friendly technicians.“
