Dr. Elizabeth Benstock

I don’t understand all the glowing reviews. I felt judged and she was no help.

Went to Dr. Benstock for hair loss. She wrote it off as genetics and told me to go on Rogaine after talking to me for 5 minutes. I decided to go to another derm for a second opinion- the other derm ordered me to get blood work. The blood work came back and I was diagnosed with anemia.

I know a very close friend who visited Dr. Benstock, and had a horrible experience. She did not listen to any of her concerns, and was more willing to put her on acutane, than exhaust every other option as most dermatologists should. Which is not nearly the worst of it. When hearing that my friend was struggling with her mental health, she tried to play the role of therapist, ignoring the fact that my friend was on medication and already seeing someone who was actually licensed to give the advice that Dr. Benstock was now giving.
