Can't speak highly enough about Dr. Gruber and the staff at Country Doctor Vet. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Dr. Gruber is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive, often emailing me off hours and fitting us in for an appointment whenever she can. We have an elderly cat that is seen pretty often, and I know he is in the best hands with Dr. Gruber. She provides thorough explanations and tries to find effective but cost friendly treatment options whenever possible while also surprising us by wishing us well with our new baby even after months go by between visits. Very helpful over the phone with my questions about a medical issue they're treating with my cat. Dr Trexler was very kind to me when she gave me multiple opinions with different pricing and she was very kind when the results came back. Have been going here for about 10 years.

I've had a few good experiences here. Unfortunately my last one was not. My puppy had a fractured leg so we brought her here for x-rays. 1st the machine was broken which they fixed same day. We got the X-rays done, they sent them to their "surgeon" and she automatically recommended surgery. Of course we wanted a second opinion as surgery is very expensive. Well don't you know, the X-ray techs somehow forgot how to send images to other vets. First they sent photos that they took from a phone which the other surgeon could not read them because of the poor quality. They tried probably 2 or 3 other times to send them in different formats which no other... read full review
