This place is the bomb if you're a guy. This was one of the very few hair cutting facilities that was open during covid where you didn't need a mask hey. You can have a beer while you're getting your cut or waiting. You won't be disappointed. They do all manner of cuts from beards to hair to razors to anything else that a man would require
BRING CASH. They don't take card or anything, cash only. He cut the top pretty short and didn't ask before he started triming the top. Rest of the cut is really nice though. I should have asked before I sat down if he took card but we finshed and then I asked and I was really embarrassed because he just told me not to worry about it. I went and got cash and came back though and the guys were pretty cool in there. Hard to find a barber that isn't a pretentious "appointment only" place that will do stright razor work and not charge you $30+. Shops been around since the 60's for a reason.

Houser's is always a great place. Art is my barber there, and we go way back, but Houser's is an old-fashioned sort of place where all the barber's are friendly and willing to help you. There is always a hand shake, fist bump, or gesture to welcome you and to send you off.If you haven't tried Houser's, give it a try. You will find a modern but conservative crew ready to give you the haircut you need, or a little edgier one that you want. They cut kids' hair as well! It's a great place to expose young men to a mature place with good models for work ethic and focus.
