Bob Rutan is truly an exceptional septic inspector and one of the best in NJ. I had him come to do an inspection for a house I was buying and he and his son-in-law walked me through every step. I learned a lot about how septic systems work and learned why certain parts were satisfactory or not satisfactory. Bob was extremely thorough and pulled all the paperwork on the property before even beginning the inspection. His report was detailed and thorough. Definitely worth every penny for a very honest and high quality inspection.

Currently in the process of buying my first home and required a septic inspection. I was having trouble finding a company to inspect the septic on this property in a timely manner and fortunately my real estate agent provided Bob's card to me. I called and Bob took time to gather information from me and give me a brief education before we even decided on whether or not we'd work together. Bob came out bright an early with a date and time that worked for us both. Not only did he provide a top notch inspection/report he explained the entire system to me and held my hand through the whole process. I learned so much about Septic Systems, maintenance of them and a few tips/suggestions for the future of my property. I could not give Bob or this company enough stars!!
