I was lucky enough to find an absolutely amazing provider in this office: Dr. Ramey Roppel. I've had a few issues pop up over the last year or so that's she's attended to. Every time I see her or speak to her, I truly feel listened to and understood. She gives options if there are money constraints along with expanding things in detail to make sure they are understood. I cannot thank her enough for her help, and really value her as a physician. The only issue I have with the practice is that I asked for a pap smear at the same time as my annual visit when I first scheduled it a year ago. The trick with Valley Family Medicine is choosing the right care provider. Do not try to speak to the "on-call" physician if that person is a physician you have never met. Even though all of the physicians in this practice are licensed to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania, that does not mean that they all care about you. At least three physicians with whom I have interacted have the bedside manner of a toad. My physician, Dr Kodey works here & is one of the finest doctors I have ever visited. I actually only go to the doctor because she is so good. I highly recommend her & this great care center. There is onsite testing as well as an x-ray facility.
