I have used the folks 2 times now and they are great. Once for Plumbing and the last time for Heating system repair. Quick to get on their schedule and reasonable prices. They are a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend making them your plumber and your heating and AC company. I lost my heat & hot water right in the middle of winter. I initially called a brand name company for repair & was quoted over $3000 to repair the boiler or nearly $9000 to replace it. Since those quotes seemed outrageous, my cousin urged me to call Malachowski & Son. Linda was so helpful in getting me a ballpark quote over the phone and urging her husband & son to fit me into their VERY busy schedule for the next day. While I was only anticipating getting a quote & going without heat and hot water for another week or two until they could schedule such a large job, they ended fixing all the issues with my boiler within an hour and it only cost $400!! Since my boiler is at the end of it's life, I decided to replace it anyway (in a month or two) and it will cost me less than $6500. I know this price is more than reasonable as I have construction people in my family & they expressed that 6500 would be standard for what they would pay their 'inside' people. Malachowski & Son are honest people with a quick response time and do good work; what more could you ask for?! In a day when most people are only concerned with big commercial jobs for maximum profit, or large companies ripping off the small residential people, I was truly grateful to find someone honest, reasonable, and who cares about the little people like me! I would HIGHLY recommend them to any homeowner!
