If your money was transferred from TD Ameritrade to Charles Schwab take your money out and run. If you stay add a successor to account. Because if you pass away like both my parents, Charles Schwab will do their best to withhold your money from your loved ones. I am one of two sons. I also am the executor of the estate. It's been over a year and I'm presently still dealing with much larger institutions one of them the US Treasury department. They are presently in the process of transferring 100 times the amount being held by Charles Schwab and the surrogate estate paperwork is just fine for them. "The person at the front desk" got a bum rap in an earlier review. I've come in to this office a few times over the years, usually with specific questions so complicated that they would make your head spin. I needed to be shown things in documents and have them explained to me. I needed to talk to a live person face-to-face.This has happened three times in the past couple of years. All three times, James was at the front desk, and he is without a doubt the most superbly informed person I've ever met at a front desk. He was knowledgable about every form and tricky situation I presented him with, and was able to clearly explain some very complicated procedures step by step....read full review
