Apple Check Cashing

I called ahead of time to make sure I'd be able to be serviced and was told to come in and they could cash my check. Went in to the store within 20 minutes of the phonecall around 3:45PM. None of the workers knew how to cash a check for a new customer so I had to wait until the manager was finished grocery shopping next door (the employee verified that's indeed what he was doing). When the manager finally came in, he called my bank to verify the check but they had closed at that point and I was told to come back the following day. I came back the following day and was yet again informed that no employee there knew how to perform the necessary action and that the manager was out on personal errands and I was told to come back after 4. When I explained what happened the previous day, the employee said something to me in his native language and just turned around and walked away. What kind of manager runs personal errands while on the clock? What kind of manager leaves employees with no knowledge of the job in charge of the store? What kind of manager makes this a daily thing? Never waste your time at this place, I know I won't ever visit again.
