Joe was my stylist. He was great and gave me exactly what I was asking for. We had a lot in common and had great conversation so the visit was enjoyable.

This is more my fault than anything, but I was not expecting a long cut to be $80. I have had a previous colleague or a family member cut my hair the past few years so I've only been paying around $30 + a nice tip. I know that's low but I figured a cut wouldn't be more than $50-65. I almost called back to ask but I incorrectly assumed pricing would be reasonable.

Let me tell you, I clenched my butt cheeks when I checked out and she told me my trim was $80. I proceeded to ask my long-haired gals in PA what a fair market value is for a standard long hair cut/trim. I received the responses of: $45, $50, $60, $65.

I would take off another star simply because the pricing is WAY too much for the value (at least for my needs, anyway). However, it is my fault for assuming pricing would be reasonable and not having asked when I booked or calling back to ask about pricing. I also just looked after the fact and see that pricing online is $65+ for a woman's cut.

It is totally my fault for not asking/checking pricing online, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that has encountered sticker shock when checking out for my services here.

That being said, Joe you were fantastic and I told you I would be back, but unless I am in a pinch, I will be looking for somewhere else local to find my permanent new stylist.“
