I visited for some significant pain that felt to me like shingles. (I'd had them before). I did not have a rash though. I assume they thought I was looking for narcotics. Unfortunately I'd been there about 12 days before for another issue, but not pain. I admit it's unusual to go twice in three weeks. I hesitated to go, but was really painful. My Dr couldn't see me til Thursday (this was Sunday). The nurse was nice. As I waited I heard the word shingles outside the door and then laughter, which could be completely unrelated. Every time I come to this urgent care are whether it's for myself or my children, we are handled with love and care. The doctors, nurses and other staff are friendly and considerate! Being at the doctor is always awkward and uneasy and they make the experience so wonderful! Thank you to all the staff!
I have been to UPMC Urgent Care several times, usually for sinus infections. But once, I got there in the nick of time because of a very bad asthma attack. They immediately took me back and cared for me with such care and concern that I'll never forget it. This is a very good medical facility,
