If I could give more stars to this wonderful group of people, I would. I have been with Dr. Martin since her practice opened as we had guinea pigs in the 90’s. Through the years, my family has grown to love and respect, not only her, but the entire staff here. I’ve seen all of the doctors, all of the techs and secretaries, and everyone is caring and will do as much as they can to help the families and their fur babies. Are they pricey? Yes. Do I get the best care here? Absolutely. If the doctors are stumped—they tell you that and work with you, and other vets, to find the most acceptable approach. I was not happy with our old vet so when my dog showed signs of being ill, I decided to try Northern Pike Veterinary Hospital. I am extremely impressed with the service we received, right from the very friendly and helpful receptionist through my dog's treatment with Doctor Haggerty and her extremely caring and kind assistant. Doctor Haggerty did a thorough examination of my dog, took ample time to explain any potential issues, suggested tests that could be done and provided an estimate before any testing. She is obviously very knowledgeable and cares about her patients as well as their owners. I would highly recommend this Veterinary hospital.
I have been taking my fur babies to Northern Pike Veterinary for 9 years. Best veterinary office you could find. They explain everything clearly and truly care about their patients. I would not go anywhere else.
