A great hiking trail that's not to crowded. The walk isn't very difficult, there are some fair sized gradients, but nothing too challenging. There's a place where the trail crosses a creek. We walked over side of Valley road, and it connects to the Darlington trail, so you can access that area as well.Recommended.

What a great improvement in cleaning up this preserve since I was last here over 2 years ago when it was truly trashed. This preserve runs along Rocky Run creek for some distance. This is very beautiful forest area for the first part and then forest and fields on the other side of the creek.Additional trail markers would be very helpful as I only found the location of cement pavers to get across the water because it showed up on my Garmin. The kiosk at the parking lot could use a map (which it had two years ago but no longer). Also adding a bridge type crossing for those not comfortable using the cement pavers or walking through the creek would increase accessibility...read full review

Pretty nice park. There were a couple sections of trail which required crossing a river and it was difficult for a couple people in my group. Fortunately, no one fell in, but they did get their shoes soaked. There also appear to be several other parking lots to access the preserve from which I hadn't realized. So it may be better to go on a different set of trails than the one accessible from this specific lot.The preserve itself is pretty nice. There are a few sections that get very close to public roads and even have a road that needs to be crossed. As well as parts of the trail that go next to private property, power lines, and a few other oddities.
