I have been to other salons that on the surface are *like* Red, but let me tell you what sets them apart. I went to Red for the first time today for manicure and pedicure. From my first encounter with the receptionist, I noticed the staff and overall atmosphere being much more friendly than I have experienced elsewhere. Brett did my mani and pedi (as well as my sisters) and along with doing a fantastic job, he too, was kind, welcoming and overall amazing. The service and staff at Red are like none other! This was my first visit, but absolutely not my last!
Brett did an amazing job correcting my hair. It had grown out after two bad blond brassy visits at another salon which left poor Brett with four different hair shades to contend with. Brett and Jenni took the time to discuss a good fix and actually listened to what my hair goals were. It turned out absolutely amazing. Brett was so kind and personable. The rest of the staff were so friendly as well. I didn't get to try it, but the candy cane martini they offered when I arrived sounded great. They also have wine and other options to make the whole experience wonderful and relaxing.
Pre-pandemic I went to RED religiously for nails. Now I'm more of an occasional customer. But that doesn't stop them from remembering me. I think I've been once the last nine months and as soon as I walked they greeted me and asked about my kids. My nail tech that I used to see every two weeks acted like I was a regular still and it was so comfortable. We chatted about all the things you discuss at the salon (family, dating life, etc) and it was just--comfortable. A few things to be aware of: *parking is atrocious. This is big problem with any of the Arcona businesses. It's not the businesses fault at all, it's the developers. There is just not enough parking spaces for all the shops there. Leave plenty of time to find a spot. Sometimes I have to park up a street and walk down *there is only one tech who does nail art (Angel). That's who I see and she is amazing but if you need nail art make sure to ask for her
