After going back several times a day showing them things that I had to re-iron so that I'm not walking around work with huge, pressed-in creases in my shirts, the production manager told me that their production machine is old and doesn't produce quality. That if I didn't want huge, pressed- in creases in my shirts, I would have to pay $5 extra per shirt and have them hand pressed. The dry cleaners in this area seem more content making excuses than providing quality. I'll just go back to pressing my own shirts. Then I know that they're done right!

I used their wash and fold service while waiting to replace my washing machine. The pricing was surprisingly reasonable. The fold service was absolutely terrible. Our clothes were so badly wrinkled and mishandled that many articles had to be rewashed to remove the wrinkles. On the wash side, a few of our articles came back shrunken and most had an overpowering smell of detergent. Overall, this service got us through a pinch but I probably wouldn't use it again.

I sometimes don't like that I'm not stationed on a base because some (very few) businesses like to take advantage of the military, and George's Cleaners is definitely one of them. I've taken uniforms here numerous times for dry cleaning because it's close to the house. I wasn't told when I dropped off two uniforms how much it would cost to sew a simple patch on the end of each sleeve, but when I picked them up, I was told $60. When I exclaimed disbelief, the cashier stated, "Don't blame me, I'm just the cashier." I was kind and replied, "I know, but this would have only cost me about $10 on a base."
