“We moved to a new area of Pittsburgh and were so sad to leave our previous groomer who worked with our anxious girl Ellie to help her get more comfortable with grooming. But the first time I brought our pitbull mix into Puffy Paws, they said they were so happy to have her breed which made me so excited as some groomers aren’t the most welcoming of dogs like her! We’ve been there twice now for monthly grooming and the second time Ellie was SO happy to get inside. She never seems anxious or scared when leaving, and for a rescue with a rough past who hates being groomed, that’s so important to us. They’re also very reasonably priced and fast, which is great for getting her groomed during the workday. So happy to have found a new groomer in our neighborhood!“

“THE BEST dog groomers!! Linda is so sweet with my little girl. She was a rescue, and Linda was pateint and gave tips on what to do at home with her. Then, I moved about 45 mins away and Linda is still worth the drive because of her perfect cuts! Alfie leaves with a beautiful cut, ears cleaned, nails trimmed and Linda even gives her a little detachable colorful feather to add to her cute-ness! I wont go anywhere else! “I’m from out of town. I have a white Persian cat and I needed to find someone to groom him. My sister had recommended Joyce whom she had met. I called Joyce. She was so so nice on the phone. I was really looking forward to see her. Her history grooming. Animals was impressive.. so I dropped my cat off and I came back to pick them up within an hour. He looked beautiful, so so handsome she did such an amazing job. She didn’t need to use a cone. She believes that her in the cat bond and she hold her cat close to her as she groom them she gains there total total trust. My cat came home. He’s strutting around the house. He loves loves loves his haircut. I can’t say enough about Joyce, but thank you so much for taking care of him. He means a lot to me if anyone needs a cat groomer that would take care of your cat like it’s theirs Joyce is the one. “My FAVORITE cat groomer in Pittsburgh! I take my cat Poppy in for nail trims as she is quite difficult to trim on my own. Shaggy Maggie’s does the best job with her. They are quick and professional and do an excellent job. Poppy is very nervous and can get quite agitated with trimmings, but the team here handles it really well. We recently left North Shore and moved to the east side of Pittsburgh, but still make the trip back.“

“I have a Grooming Salon in NYC (compete in grooming competitions AND AKC dog confirmation with my standard poodle) and am visiting my sister for a long weekend- Blanche got filthy playing in the yard. I have NEVER brought her anywhere but my own salon.. but I read about Precious Paws Pet Salon and said let me give them a try- l was NOT disappointed. Gavin does great work, my poodle is clean, knott free, white and fluffy as could be. He was amazing with her and I can’t thank them enough. If I lived out here I would recommend them to everyone!“

“Karen use to cut my dogs nails years ago before she passed away. I taking my other dog today for a nail trim. Karen is such a sweet lady. She even remember me from years ago. She does grooming too but I always just got the nails trim. U have to call and leave a message and she will get back to u to make appointment. No walk in just appointment only. Karen was great with my dog. My dog got anxiety issues and was attacked when he was a puppy. He don’t trust no another dog since then. I plan on bringing my dog every month for a nail trim.“

“Grooming and baked goods for your dogs and they do a great job on both. The bakery has decorated baked goods that look delicious to the human eye. They have other products for your fur babies as well. They sell some dog foods and accessories. The shop is a delight. They also provide grooming services. My grand-dog goes there and she always looks puffy and perfect when she is groomed. They are patient and kind. Bring ya wallet-they are pricey with their products, but you get what you pay for too. Parking is on the street. Shop was clean and handicap accessible.“
