I love that this veterinary office is close to where I live and the staff is very friendly. That being said, there are some operational issues and I feel they are best for routine animal care, not emergency or sick animal situations. 1) The hours at the Hickory location are very limited, the Castle Shannon branch is temporarily closed and there are gaps in availability. 2) They appearantly do not have in-office imaging equipment as we were referred somewhere else to have an ultrasound. 3) There are some gaps in knowledge regarding the emergency vet services in the area. We were referred to a location on Camp Horne road (obviously preferred by them) or MedVet for an ultrasound... read full review
