Gwen was able to get me in last minute on a Saturday for a cut and highlights.
I was looking for a new cut and showed her multiple pictures and also told her what I liked and didn't like about each one. She took the time to listen and came up with a perfect style for me that also worked with crazy work schedule, something I didn't consider.
Not only were her cutting, highlighting and styling amazing, her personality was one of a kind. She made the appointment fly by and I look forward to future visits.
She currently isn't taking bank or credit cards but Sheetz does have an ATM that doesn't charge like most which is convenient as her shop is the road to the right...read full review

Gwen was my stylist years ago but due to moving I started seeing another stylist. Fast-forward to a Saturday when I couldn't handle my hair any longer I started calling all stylists in the area to hopefully get squeezed in for a cut and highlights. After calling everyone in a 30 mile radius with no luck I finally stumbled across Gwenz Hair Request. I never thought I would be able to get in as I remember how busy she was in the past. I called with fingers crossed and she was able to get me in. Her salon had moved from when I was a previous customer as she was located behind the gas station at that time, now she's just a hop, skip and a jump behind Sheetz. Anyways after showing her a couple styles I liked and what I didn't like about them, she came up with exactly what I was wanting. She gave me some suggestions on the highlighting as well and it was more than I could have imagined. She listened to everything that I wanted and also took Into consideration the long hours I'm currently working and what style would work for the days I didn't want to take much time to style. Those were things I didn't think of. Besides the amazing style and highlights she gave me, the visit I had with her was one I'll never forget. If you're looking for someone that cares about not only what she thinks about the end result, but she truly cares what you think, Gwen is the one to see. She stands behind her work and it doesn't matter how long you're in her chair, she won't let you leave until you love it!! P. S If you're worried you're going to pay an astronomical price for her services, you'll be pleasantly surprised. I was expecting to pay alot more so I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks and having quite a few extra in my purse. She doesn't currently take cards though but Sheetz conveniently has a no charge ATM.

Came here with my girlfriend. I got the pleasure of watching and talking to her while petting the lovely house guests, two beautiful dogs. Gwen was personable and wonderful to talk to. She walked us through everything she was doing. She was kind, compassionate to everything my girlfriend talked about, and she made sure to perfect the haircut my girlfriend wanted. She took great care of her hair. Everything here is so inviting and comfortable, I highly recommend her to anyone looking!
