I chose Pure Joy Salon to do my hair for my wedding and they were wonderful! Maria styled my hair and it was lovely, I was very pleased with my updo. From the outside, Pure Joy is unassuming. It might have been a barn in its former life, but the gilded hands of renovation have removed its former indignity. When you enter, you have the distinct feeling that you're in the hands of your impossibly stylish older sister, and you just know you're going to love your new look.
I asked for some layers and a blonde balyage. I'd never dyed my curly hair before, and I was a bit nervous, until I met my stylist, Beth. She's as pretty as Belle, as kind as Sleeping Beauty, with the magic touch of Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. I half expected tiny woodland creatures to appear and lend their aide.

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and I always see Abby. She is an amazingly talented stylist! My hair is dark and pulls very warm when lightened. Yet somehow she always delivers the “ashy” blonde highlights I’m looking for. She is a magician!
