“I tore my left ACL while playing volleyball and went through ACL reconstruction. Post surgery, I experienced pain and swelling after every PT session. I visited three different PTs over the course of two years and all I used to get was that my knee is a puzzle. To be honest, I didn't have much hope when I first visited Supriya at Potential. Lack of strength, instability and flexibility were major concerns two years after the surgery.Supriya analyzed and spent time to make me aware of the underlying problem. I never got the confidence earlier that my problem will be solved or realistic timeline of rehab. She has that rare trait of connecting with patients, clarity in both analyzing and explaining the problem by setting realistic rehab goals. “I came to Dr. John's half way through my third pregnancy in bad shape. I was having a lot of leg numbness, pain and was extremely uncomfortable. After just a couple of appointments my symptoms were practically gone. I felt so much lighter after every adjustment. Her adjustments in my last half of pregnancy helped me to have an easier labor and delivery and I believe prevented an induction. I felt better at 40 weeks pregnant with a large baby (9lbs 7 ounces) than I did at 20 weeks before seeing her. Some of my leg issues returned 11 months postpartum after carrying around a large baby non-stop and her adjustments are definitely making me feel a lot better and greatly improve my quality of life.

I also noticed my digestion became a lot better and I stopped experiencing heart burn during my pregnancy after seeing her.“

“Until discovering Penn, I mistakenly believed I knew what PT was all about as a former patient of the other major option here in Chester County. Was I wrong.

There is no comparison whatsoever how at much better the physical therapy experience is at Penn.

Everything and everyone - the facilities, the support staff, the therapists - works together with you to get you back quickly on your feet. You are assigned one therapist who works exclusively with you unlike the other guys who have many patients at one time. Here you are prioritized a full hour of one on one work.

My issue was osteoarthritis and trouble walking.

Therapist Joe L listened to me and after a comprehensive exam, designed a program that made things simple yet built on progression through a series of exercises.

One major highlight I NEVER ONCE GOT AT THE OTHER PLACE is the table work where he’d stretch me out and apply heat to my tender muscles at the end of each session.

I can now do these exercises on my own and have a plan once my hip replacement surgery can be scheduled.

“I have been to many physical therapy providers over the last 10 years. Most are like factories where each therapist is working on 3-4 people concurrently. There is a set therapy for each diagnosis and the therapists do not stray from that. Working with Kim has been the exact opposite of that experience. Kim is very educated on many different modalities. She is a partner who is actually invested in each individual she works with. She asks for and listens to feedback and and is dedicated to improving her clients' lives. If you work with Kim you can be sure she will go to the ends of the Earth to improve your condition. I have never had a therapist contact me outside of a therapy session to send links to articles or to say they were thinking about me and sending links to exercises I might be willing to try. This is an example of how Kim goes out of her way for each client. If all PT was modeled after how client focused Kim's practice is then I believe many more people would be back to "normal" much, much sooner.“
